French Terry

French Terry is mid to heavyweight knitted fabric. Depending on the construction, it can be based on 2 or 3 yarns. It has a flat front and a reverse loop structure. That’s why it is soft and smooth on one side and has loops and yarns on the other side. A soft and smooth surface allows easy decoration of the fabric. This fabric is strong and durable and it has high form preservation, which makes it suitable for rough wear for a long time.  Due to its density, it has few tendencies to pilling. This absorbent and versatile fabric is mostly used for cozy styles of sportswear and home wear. 
Mainly recommended for sweatshirts, sweatpants, sportswear, homeware, infant wear, and casual clothing.
