Who Are We?
Ege Organics GmbH, the company behind Manifutura, was established in 2013 in Bremen, Germany, but our story goes way back to many years ago!
The flagship company, Egedeniz Textile, from the Egedeniz Group, was established in 1993. However, the roots delve even deeper, commencing in the early 1900s when the first generation ventured into cotton trading, ginning, and supplying dried fruits to exporters.
By the second generation's involvement in the 1950s, exports of these products were initiated. The third generation, in the 1980s, led us to diversify into wheat flour milling and animal feed milling. By the early 1990s, we expanded into the production and export of organic dried fruits, cotton, cereals, and engaged in garment manufacturing using both organic and conventional cotton. Drawing upon 30 years of expertise in the apparel industry, Egedeniz conceived an idea that harmonizes with the renowned Japanese "Ikigai" mentality within our sustainable textile industry: the creation of a portal where sustainable materials can be sourced with just a few clicks.
Manifutura is here to help start-ups and established brands seeking sustainable materials in both mid to high volumes, with no minimum order quantities (MOQ).
